I have removed my mods folder and replaced it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I have enabled cc and script mods in game options. My game is up to date, all my files have been upzipped and placed in my mods folder in sub-folders. I attempted to start a new file, but my cc isn't showing up in CAS. It shows that I've logged 125 hours in game, however, all of my saved files were gone.
When I attempted to play the sims the next day, my game had reset as if I as playing for the first time (I am using the PC version downloaded from origin). My mods and cc were functioning properly. I was playing the sims 4 on wednesday night. Instead, place your cc/mods from the desktop mods folder into the newly generated mods folder. Exit the game and then add back the 'options.ini' file and the 'saves', 'screenshots' 'tray' 'custom music 'folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.ĭon't put back the old mods folder.
Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. Then go back into the game again and see if the cc is there, If it isn't ticked, do that.Also check that the script mods allowed button is ticked as well. Options | Other | Enable Custom Content and Mods. Go to game options and check that the ' enable custom content and mods' button is ticked, which is found in : It kept all my old CC, but it was/is NOT in the mods folder, yet when I installed newer cc, my older cc only appeared in game. Those who have my Baby Love Baby Skin Set already installed in their game, they can just replace the particular Baby Love skin tones with the skins of their choice from this Sweet Baby Skin set. For example, if your babies have medium skin tones and you've my Baby Love Baby Skin Set installed in your game, then delete only the medium skin tones from your Mod folder and install the medium skins from this Sweet Baby Skin set.Recently I reset my computer. For example, if your babies have fair skin tones, install the fair skins from this Sweet Baby Skin set and install any one random skin from except the fair skin tones. So, you need to install at least one skin from in your game for these skins to work. I used my Baby Love Skins as a base for skins of this set. This set is based on my previously released, but it includes new hair, eyes, and clothes for fair, medium and dark skin tone babies. This set doesn't include alien baby skins. I created Sweet Baby Skin Set in response to a request from my friend for curly hair.
